What Guests Are Saying
Peak One Campground boasts a fantastic location near trails, towns, and Lake Dillon, making it ideal for outdoor activities. The campground is clean, well-maintained, and offers good privacy between sites. However, there are ongoing issues with restroom facilities, as vault toilets remain closed and only porta-potties are available, which some guests found less than satisfactory.

Gorgeous spot for fall mountain views with the nice touch of being alongside a massive lake. Will definitely return.

Peak One provided no hookup campsites in a beautiful setting just over a rise from Lake Dillon Reservoir. We enjoyed two nights at Peak One. During the day we took a drive up to Boreas, which was fabulous. We also did some sightseeing and shopping in Breckenridge and Frisco. This is a beautiful area with a lot to offer. We’ll be back!

Great location, friendly staff and good price. Some trash left behind at my site, but didn’t look like it was common at other sites. Good cell service. Summit county is awesome!

The scenery was amazing! Frisco was a short bike ride away and Breckenridge was just a little longer (both accessible by an amazing set of bike trails!). Most sites offered decent privacy and the hosts were very friendly! I'd recommend putting it on your list of great spots to check out in the big ski area region of Rt 70!

Lots of activities available. Hiking, both dirt trail and paved trail biking, hand launch boat ramp nearby, etc. Town of Frisco is nearby and has restaurants and shopping available. Good cell service too.

The area is very beautiful but I wished that the neighbor campsite wasn’t so close and offered a little more privacy. We very much enjoyed the trails around the reservoir. They had flush toilets that we’re kept very clean

Beautiful location just outside of terrific high elevation mountain towns Frisco and Breckinridge just 15 minutes away Stayed here once ten years ago and wanted to come back on a crosscountry trek before end of season. Love Colorado and this is a perfect centralized location to range out in any direction. Very decent amenities in a well kept, yet just primitive style campground

I was disappointed at the lack of clean sites. No Rv dump was a big disappointment also. What exactly does the camphost do? Are they short staffed also like every one else?

Beautiful campsites. The trees are coming back strong. Running water bathrooms cleaned each morning. Very nice. Short walk to the lake. Bike path and mountain biking very close by. Will be going back again.
