What Guests Are Saying
Peak One Campground boasts a fantastic location near trails, towns, and Lake Dillon, making it ideal for outdoor activities. The campground is clean, well-maintained, and offers good privacy between sites. However, there are ongoing issues with restroom facilities, as vault toilets remain closed and only porta-potties are available, which some guests found less than satisfactory.

Even though the weather didn't cooperate, our time at Peak One was very enjoyable! The camp hosts, Lana and Tracy, were awesome and very helpful in getting our trailer backed into our site. There are definitely some sites that are set up better for larger campers, but the spacing and views were great! I would highly recommend staying at Peak One!

Site 19 was large, private. Just a short walk to the lake. The camp hosts were very friendly.

We had a great time at Bryce but waisted most of our time at the campgrounds due to reservations and sites. Of 4 days we could only get the same site for 2 nights. The other two was a breakdown, pack and setup. Got zero help on line or with the park coordinators.

Site B39 - We love this area of Colorado. Our only issue was the bitting ants and flies. Last year we stayed in C- loop and don’t remember having this problem.

Our host, Suzanne was very helpful and accommodating when we arrived at our campsite. She directed us places we asked about. Later on, she was very professional in dealing with entitled humans who think it’s OK to build fires that are 6 feet high. Really? Go do that in your own backyard.
Suzanne made sure campers were safe and later it was nice to see Summit County Sheriff’s deputies driving through the campground. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HARD WORK!!

Campers must occupy the site the first night at a campsite. This precents booking the site for Fri-Sun and showing up on a Saturday. |

Campers may leave the site for 24 hours and must occupy the site otherwise. This allows a camper to say go for an overnight backpack trip in the woods for one night and come back to their campsite the next day. |
