Campground was quiet, and there's a very short trail directly from the site to the lake.

Beware the booking web site! It allowed us to book two small popups and cars in one site along with an adjacent site for a family get together after being separated for 3 years. Once there, one campground host said 'no problem' then, once we were set up, the other came and said one family and popup had to move. Our family reunion got fractured with one family 1/4 mile away. Even though the web site screwed up the host showed no flexibility at all and it hindered our time together.

It was a very hot couple of days. Lack of shade trees when sitting at the campsite. Also, due to no showers for an excellent rating.
It was a clean camping area and close to Frisco.

Nice campsite! Beautiful views, clean bathrooms, good cell service. There’s not a TON of visual privacy because there aren’t many trees (decent trade for the mountain views!) but there is a fair amount of space between campsites. Our camp host was very friendly and helpful. Overall I highly recommend camping here!

Second time back, will be a third for sure. Campers were respectful, hosts were very nice. Highly recommend, especially for families with Lake Dillon right there.

Campers must occupy the site the first night at a campsite. This precents booking the site for Fri-Sun and showing up on a Saturday. |

Campers may leave the site for 24 hours and must occupy the site otherwise. This allows a camper to say go for an overnight backpack trip in the woods for one night and come back to their campsite the next day. |

Check in time is 2:00pm and Check out time is 11:00am.It is imperative that you are clear from the site at 11:00am on your check out day so the host can come prepare the site for the next event. Please don't be the group that makes the incoming group have to wait. |
