What Guests Are Saying
Peak One Campground boasts a fantastic location near trails, towns, and Lake Dillon, making it ideal for outdoor activities. The campground is clean, well-maintained, and offers good privacy between sites. However, there are ongoing issues with restroom facilities, as vault toilets remain closed and only porta-potties are available, which some guests found less than satisfactory.

Beautiful campground, great for biking around the loops and easy mountain biking trail around lake perimeter. Trees and vegetation were so beautiful! It was very cold at night in a tent in late May, so would recommend a pop up or a hard shell RV for camping here. Bathroom was pretty far from the site, but flush toilets were nice. No soap and no paper towels/drier in the bathroom, and no mirror. Would suggest sprucing up the bathrooms a bit. Overall, really liked the campground and will stay here again for sure!

Beautiful campground with spectacular views. Flush toilets were clean, and water spigots were available at bathrooms (not for filling tanks). Verizon cell was good. The sites were large and there was plenty of distance between them. Our campground host, Suzanne, was exceptional. She went above and beyond. She was always happy to help if you needed any assistance. She had such a pleasant demeanor. We really enjoyed our stay.

The reservoir was lowered by 16 feet before our arrival. Getting to the water was next to impossible with our kayaks.

Close to water, plenty of trails for hiking and biking and close to town for excursions.

A lot of great spacious sites with great views. Can walk to Dillon reservoir. Hosts very friendly and efficient.
Only thing we weren't crazy about was having to pay daily for extra vehicle and friends who visited our site had to pay daily fee also.

Campers may leave the site for 24 hours and must occupy the site otherwise. This allows a camper to say go for an overnight backpack trip in the woods for one night and come back to their campsite the next day. |
