Really nice campground, clean bathrooms, and quiet. But the reservation system to stay there is not really user friendly, could used some improvement. Camp ground host was really friendly and helpful.

Large and beautiful campground, but not a dump station, you have to drive 3 miles and pay $10 to fill up fresh water for your RV and do the dump. The views are stunning.

Each year we camp one or two times as Prospector. This year, some of the water outlets were closed. It was frustrating not to know in advance where water was available. Also, over the weekend, the toilets in loop 3 were out of toilet paper. Otherwise, this is a well managed, clean campground. We'll be back...

Nice big camp spots not to close to each other and just a quick walk to the reservoir. Clean bathrooms and a friendly host! Great spot right outside of town. I would definitely go back!

This was a great campsite, very well maintained, nice picnic tables and fire pits at each spot, clean bathrooms, good privacy at most spots and a beautiful path down to the lake. Not a ton of shade in most spots so we would definitely bring a shade canopy next time.

The Dillon Lake area is one of our favorite destinations. There are an amazing amount of bike trails, restaurants, and things to do. Prospector campground is wonderful still covered in green grass and wild flowers in August. The sites are large and spread out. You can walk to Dillon Lake. Great cell service on Verizon. A great place for a vacation.

Campers must occupy the site the first night at a campsite. This prevents booking the site for Fri-Sun and showing up on Saturday. |
| General |
Campers may leave the site for 24 hours and must occupy the site otherwise. This allows a camper to say go for an overnight backpack trip in the woods for one night and come back to their campsite the next day. |
