Excellent campground. Sites are spaced far enough to be friendly but at maintain privacy at same time. Numerous trails to bike. Surrounding forest is beautiful.

We enjoyed our camping trip with our 2 dogs. The lake was beautiful and we had a lot of fun walking to and from the trail. Even though there was a fire ban we had no issues with bugs or other nightlife. The hosts were also very friendly.

Very clean campground and bathrooms were very clean for a vault toliet, not very noisy for as big as it is and very beautiful views

The campground was very crowded and a little noisy. Itβs a good spot for families, but we were wanting something more quiet/secluded. The bathrooms were pretty clean and the lake view was beautiful. The camp site was rather spacious, big enough for two tents.

approximately 4 miles to Swan Mountain Road. Turn right and travel for 2
miles to Prospector and Windy Point Campground sign. Take dirt road 1
mile to campground entrance.

Campers must occupy the site the first night at a campsite. This prevents booking the site for Fri-Sun and showing up on Saturday. |

Campers may leave the site for 24 hours and must occupy the site otherwise. This allows a camper to say go for an overnight backpack trip in the woods for one night and come back to their campsite the next day. |
