The vegetation had regrown in the campground much more than we had expected after the timber cutting for beetles. The sites were great. Beautiful views of the lake. Some management concerns such as overcrowding of tents on single sites and rv owners parking along road and in bathroom walkways.

Campsite 68 was disappointing. No flat area to sit under awning. Very rocky with tree stumps. Two other campsites nearby were very noisy even after 10 pm. Campground location is awesome.

I spent one night at Loop E last weekend. The reservoir and background were beautiful. But until midnight, the people watching the action movie with the beam projector, and the party where the 4 couples gathered loudly ended at 3 AM. Nobody stopped them and I couldn't sleep.

Absolutely beautiful spot! The only thing that would make it better would be a flatter path at the bottom of the trail to the reservoir from the campground so you could actually get to the water without a steep drop off.

Campers must occupy the site the first night at a campsite. This prevents booking the site for Fri-Sun and showing up on Saturday. |
| General |
Campers may leave the site for 24 hours and must occupy the site otherwise. This allows a camper to say go for an overnight backpack trip in the woods for one night and come back to their campsite the next day. |
