A decent campground. The trails down to Lake Dillon are really steep. There is a dump station nearby at the Upper Blue Sanitation District site further down Swan Mountain road towards Breckinridge for $5. There was potable water for RV filling.

We have been camping here for several years, never a bad experience. Always clean and well maintained. Amazing views, great hiking, and town close by if needed.

We had the most amazing site, view over the lake and mountains and it was huge. Clean vault toilet.
The only negative was that there were two guys oposite who were playing their music loudly, can't understand why such people camp in this kind of nature campground.
Oh, and the road in was the worst ever!

Go to spot for everything the Rocky Mountain life has to offer. Quick destination from Denver, modern benefits with views and the constant reminder you are in a nature bigger than you. Campground is therefore very popular with both locals and tourists. Locals find weekdays more pleasurable on vacation and tourists dominate the prime weather season July.

Campers must occupy the site the first night at a campsite. This prevents booking the site for Fri-Sun and showing up on Saturday. |
| General |
Campers may leave the site for 24 hours and must occupy the site otherwise. This allows a camper to say go for an overnight backpack trip in the woods for one night and come back to their campsite the next day. |
