Wonderful campground, but noisy. Campers did not seem to care about barking dogs and partying past 10p. Otherwise, this could a wonderful camp spot and hope next year's camp host will take management of these things into consideration.

Road leading into the campground is very bad, either the Forest Service or Summit County needs to address this issue . The roads in the campground are well maintain.

Great camp host they are very helpfully. The lots are a little small for the camper and truck but we made it work.

We had a campsite reserved for 2 nights at this campground. We showed up the first night and everything was great but while we were out hiking the next day, the campground host sold our site to someone else. When we got back in the evening, our site was occupied and there were no other sites available. When we confronted the campground host they made a bunch of excuses and didn't offer any real solutions so we were forced to sleep in a parking lot. Their system for keeping track of which sites are booked is terrible so keep that in mind when staying here.

We planned a family camping trip with my siblings, their families, and my kids. There were 15 of us at the height of the weekend and all had a great time. We used one sight as the hub for cooking and eating but had reserved several sights in the vicinity for sleeping. Access to hiking and water was nearby and for others who stayed at camp (me) it was quiet and restful. The scenery was breathtaking! Weather was good and our sight had matured trees for shade from the afternoon sun. For a family fun weekend, we couldn't have asked for better or for a better price. We are already starting to plan our weekend for next summer!! See you soon!

Beautiful place to camp. Close to Dillon but you could barely hear any traffic noise.

Don't be discouraged if you can't get the campsites right along the lake - many of the sites in the other loops are lovely and the views to the mountains surrounding you are easy to see from almost anywhere. We loved our stay at Prospector. Our days were spent sailing on Dillon Reservoir - a 10 minute drive from the campground. If you don't have access to a boat there are many for rent at both the Dillon and Frisco Marinas. The bar/snack shacks at both Marinas are also great places to hang out near the water and enjoy a beautiful summer day outside.

Campers must occupy the site the first night at a campsite. This prevents booking the site for Fri-Sun and showing up on Saturday. |
| General |
Campers may leave the site for 24 hours and must occupy the site otherwise. This allows a camper to say go for an overnight backpack trip in the woods for one night and come back to their campsite the next day. |
