The camp hosts were very nice and welcoming. The campsite was just what we needed and the alligators were very cooperative in their exbisitions. I'd stay here again on my next trip without a doubt. Since this might not be everyones cup of tea I preface - the cell signal is great because there's a town 100 yards from the site.

Very nice campground. Plenty of room between sites. Note that website states no fire rings available but there was one on our site and the others around it.

Quiet time is supposed to be 10 to 6, but people run their generator anytime??? I know last year Burns lake had strict quiet time, this park does not.
shark valley is a great bike trail not far from the park.
Joanies crab restaurant is very good.

The campground is clean and lovely, the hosts and maintenance crew were warm and welcoming, and the area is a natural wonderland. The only real drawback was the fire pits. None of them work. The hosts have requested they be fixed for months but there has been no response.

Very beautiful and quiet. The lake is so calm, it's like a mirror so that you can see the upside down view. We saw a beautiful sunset and a lot of star at night. We love it so much so we already booked for next one!
