This little lake is a awesome place to stop. No hookups, but they do have bathrooms (no showers). The lake is beautiful anytime of day, but when the sunset hits it’s gorgeous. We saw spoonbills (they are rare), and 1 or 2 gators in the water. There are several signs saying not to walk dogs, there were also signs to warn against bears and panthers. So, good to know...camphost Chris was awesome.

Nice, quiet site on a huge pond with alligators! Campground manager Chris was very nice and helpful. Restrooms were clean and stocked. There are no hook ups but great cell coverage, unlike the other campsites. If you stay in one of the parks' campsites, you have privileges to use the water/dump at the other sites in the park.

We had an excellent time for one night at Monument Lake in our rented Winni Trend. We really loved how peaceful and quiet the campground was. At sunrise we went for a walk around the lake and out to the road. We saw flocks of Ibis flying above, lots of heron and other birds. It was magical and unexpected! Enjoyed the Oasis visitor's center. We would like to come back for a longer stay.

We thought this was the prettiest of the campgrounds in Big Cypress. Very nice hosts.

If you’d like to see a gator then come here. Nice park with a great staff was a bonus.

Beautiful campground, but didn't expect to be overwhelmed by class A's and the din of generators at a primitive campground. At sunset everyone but us was in their motorhomes. We had the only campfire in the whole place.
