Lovely state park right on the river with a boat ramp & available dockage for rent. River leads right to the intracoastal after going thru the locks. Very clean & quiet at night. Has all the all the hookups with 50 amp power. Back in concrete pads that can accommodate a Class A RV. Park attendant very nice & helpful. Enjoyed our stay

Neeeeeeed more trees for shade! I know they can be a hassle, but it's FLORIDA for goodness sakes!!! Other than that, the campground was nice.

With 9 RV sites, this campground is tough to get a reservation in. The 6 month wait was worth it and we ended up with RV4 for 4 days. Nice quiet place along the St.Lucie waterway leading to Lake Okeechobee. Fun to watch the boat traffic negotiate the Locks. No shade, however, water and power hookups. Picnic table has a metal roof cover to keep the elements off. We had a nice breeze during our stay so it was comfortable. Later in the summer it may be rather hot.

Bathroom could have been cleaner, especially the floor.

Always clean, quiet and relaxing. Great time. Has one walking/bike trail. We ride our bikes into near by neighborhoods.

I spent my time there in a tent. It was right up against the river. It’s very peaceful and beautiful. I got to sit back and watch the big boats go by. Very clean grounds and friendly host

Lots to do in the surrounding area: restaurants, shopping, beaches and water activities etc. we enjoyed eating at both Chili’s (chain) and Galaxy Diner (independently owned Greek restaurant).

Port St. Lucie is one of our favorite campgrounds. So much to do there: You can visit the beaches, Go for miles on your bike, Go to great restaurants, Go shopping, or just set by your camper and watch the yachts go by. We visited Walton's beach for dogs, we loved it and so did the dogs. Located on Hutchinson Island-Jensen beach. The Staff are friendly and helpful. The bathhouse was clean. This is a quiet campground but with only 9 sites makes it difficult to book. We are counting the days till we return.
