What Guests Are Saying
Sylvan Park is a well-maintained campground noted for its large, shaded pull-through sites and peaceful atmosphere. Visitors appreciate the clean facilities, including hot showers and restrooms, as well as the friendly camp hosts. While some trees require hazard limb removal, the park's quiet location below the dam, along with easy access to nearby recreational activities, makes it a favorite among campers.

The sites at Sylvan Park are much larger than most camp sites and have many large trees to provide shade. These sites are below the dam with access to Lake Wilson nearby. Quiet at night, many stars visible.

Camp hosts were the best. Checked with campers daily to answer any questions or see to their needs. Provided information on local attractions and activities. Will return to this camp in the future.

It was very hot, but our site had good shade. The campground hosts were great, and the facilities were very clean. Easy to get into our site and plenty of space between sites.

Sure, you may not be on the lake, but the majority of the spots here are exceptional. So many trees, so much shade, so much space, and it's expansive if you've got unfettered access to the group sites.
The camp host was incredibly kind and welcoming, the bathrooms clean, and the immediate proximity to the hiking trails... exceptional!
Hard to believe this cost $24/night!!
