What Guests Are Saying
Sylvan Park is a well-maintained campground noted for its large, shaded pull-through sites and peaceful atmosphere. Visitors appreciate the clean facilities, including hot showers and restrooms, as well as the friendly camp hosts. While some trees require hazard limb removal, the park's quiet location below the dam, along with easy access to nearby recreational activities, makes it a favorite among campers.

One of the nicest parks we have stayed at in 5 years of RV-ing. It was clean, quiet and very calming. Even better that it was only $12 due to me having the Golden Age pass!

We are first time campers this year. we have driven around lake wilson many times to decide on a camping spot and loved the trees and camping area of sylvan park. learned many things this year about the lake and campgrounds. the corp of engineers was very helpful with explaining the lifetime senior pass and the differences between the state side and federal side of the lake. the couple that is in charge of the sylvan park were very nice in explaining the way the campground is managed. thank you all in helping us with a very enjoyable camping season and we will be back next year!!!! Kim Soukup and June Pruitt

Love staying at this campground! The playground is excellent for young children. Shady campsites are wonderful! Friendly and informative park attendant. Aside for the loss of power for a short time due to a storm, we had a great weekend!!
The only thing that could be improved upon is finding a way to exhaust the extreme heat that builds up in the restrooms and shower house.
