The sites are very large and all are drive through. Very easy access. Large trees provide wonderful shade. Camp hosts were delightful.

Location is great bout the only thing I could say is bathrooms could have been kept up a bit more the last lady would clean the bugs out daily other then that it was amazing weekend. The new lady was very nice we camped for the weekend did some swimming and fishing. Note to self for future reserve kayaks from knots heads bait shop.

In our experience, COE campgrounds are some of the best in the nation, and this campground was no exception. Nice shady green site with water and electric hookups was perfect for our stay. We visited the towns of Lucas to see the mosaic public restroom and the Garden of Eden, and Wilson to see the magnificent Cathedral of the Plains. Don't miss either town!

I pulled in towards evening after a full day of driving and was greeted by the campground host who expressed relief that I had made it. I felt most welcome.
My site was beautiful. It was shady and spacious. The bathhouse was clean and functioning.
I took a short trip over to Wilson to see the world’s largest Czech egg and strolled around the town. The lake looked inviting, and there were many people enjoying it with boats, kayaks and skidoos.

A very nice, shaded park below the dam at Wilson Lake. It is less than 10 miles from I-70. Sites are gravel and all are level. It is a large park with space for group gatherings, but the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were just there for one night but we enjoyed touring the small towns nearby.

We've camped at this campground before. It is very nice. A lot of shade trees in the hot weather. Not good for a dish antenna. :-)
