Plenty of spots to camp, and composting bathrooms are open into November. Walk or bike along the C&O Canal during the day. You will have to walk your gear to your campsite from the road, as parking is on the shoulder of Canal Road. A small wagon can help, but isn't necessary. Its a great campsite, and you'll have a great time!

I really enjoyed my stay at Antietam Creek. I didn't realize that you had to park your car on the road and then cross a bridge and walk along the canal to get to my campsite. I would still recommend camping here.

We came to celebrate our anniversary for one night, and enjoyed it so much, we tried to get our site for additional nights (unfortunately it was already booked). Will definitely be coming back to camp here again.
