Stayed June 2023. Beautiful area with so many things to do and see. Beautiful hiking, beach, and camp sites. Camp sites are spacious with a fire pit and table. I stayed in #35 there are tree between the sites so you have privacy from the site next to you. Bugs were not too bad, but the weather was cooler so that might have helped. I love this area and will be back.

Great campground and lots of beautiful scenery. Great way to get some extra activity in with all the trails too.

This is a beautiful campground! The sites are spacious and tree-covered and the roads asphalt. The harbor with its swinging bridge and path leading to Rainbow Falls is spectacular. When water returns, it will be an incredible experience.

This is an awesome campground. The cleanest pit toilet I have ever been in. The grounds are immaculate. Each site has a paved apron, fire pit and grate. Highly recommend this. My Verizon cell phones did not have any reception.

Bring your own water for camping.
Take time to see all the nearby water falls and sun sets.

Loved the size of the sites, and the proximity to Lake Superior. The only drawback was the lack of potable water, but we came prepared. Site #18 was beautiful, and has the best view.

It's a beautiful area, but (once again) we were surprised to not have potable water available at the campground. The black flies were nearly unbearable at the campsite. They congregate around the picnic tables so I'm guessing that campers leaving food waste are contributing to this problem. The Lake Superior beach was spectacular and we also enjoyed the falls.
