Try to get a spot on the lake side, sleeping in a tent on the road side was like… sleeping in a tent on the roadside.
That being said, I would absolutely go back. Hearing the waves at night is serene.

Small, but beautiful campground right on the shores of Lake Superior. Large, well-kept campsites. Dry camping only.

Absolutely beautiful camp. Great space. Path to the lake. Quiet and peaceful. Hosts are very friendly, helpful, and available. Only negative is way too many mosquitos. Bring a head net. We were eaten alive.
