Bay View needs a camp host, the bathrooms weren't as well kept as previous years. In general it didn't feel as safe as when a camp host is there.

The campground is so beautiful! We had perfect weather the days we were there , especially for mid September. Everything was clean and quiet. My only complaint was with our camp host who should know better than to bring up politics when he stopped by our campsite. We were not aware either that there was an extra daily charge for having 2 vehicles until we arrived. Circumstances changed from when we initially made our reservations. Overall it is one of the best campgrounds for privacy and enjoying trees, water and nature.

We love this place, when we went, only a couple of other campers were there. The beach and the sites were awesome, toilet vaults were clean, but if they could only move the highway 100 yards away it would be absolutely perfect. lol

Amazing place. It is not as well maintained this year as years past.

Excellent accommodation and a well maintained campground.
Individuals using the walk-in sites had unfortunately left trash around their camp site. Not all campers can be expected to be considerate and consciences of a beautiful environment.

If you go camping late summer without a camp host there’s no quiet time enforcement. It’s the one percent that makes it worst for the rest of us.

WAY too many loud, stand-alone generators at any time they pleased. This is a primitive campground. If they need all that, there are campgrounds right down the road with electrical hook-ups. It sounded as if I was camping in a factory yard, with an abundance of exhaust fumes to choke on.
