What Guests Are Saying
Indian Creek Campground is highly regarded for its beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained sites, surrounded by nature and offering easy access to hiking and Mark Twain Lake. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite spot for many. While there were minor issues with booking and bathroom cleanliness, overall experiences are overwhelmingly positive, with many looking forward to returning.

The campground host was very unprofessional and unhelpful. People from our group got told we could not use the handy cap sight they rented even though he was technically handy cap but had no sign witch it does not say anywhere on the sight you have to have and he would not work with us or help change sights. Then the sight was rented out to another person who wasn’t handy cap the same day!!!! I also do not appreciate being harassed about my boat or pickup being the grass while parked in my spot. Being a camp ground at a lake you should be boater friendly many other camp grounds do not bother campers about their parking if they are making an effort to park and not block the road. Most people have a lot of money in boats and supplies and don’t want to park them in overflow parking away from the campsite to have things stolen from them.

Very nice spacious site, lots of shade and full hook-up, doesn’t get much better than that!

Stayed in the Fox Loop. Currently, bath/showers are being shared between this and another loop due to the FoxLoop's building being demolished and rebuilt. Eagle bathroom was a bit dirty.
Site was OK. Not exactly level but water, sewer and power were up to Corp standards. Lake level was low due to drought, but things were done to enable people to get to the beach and swim.

Our stay was only for 3 nights, but would have stayed longer if time would have allowed. Our site, 170, was a full hook up, long enough for my motorhome and towed. Was well maintained and not a problem in leveling, only slightly off. We usually stay at Ray Behrns when we travel this way but thought we'd try something different, good choice. Will definitely stay again.

Great camp site. The people were all friendly the only issue was one of the rangers was a complete and total jerk. Contradicted what the other rangers said and was very confrontational. Not what you would expect from a family location.

Bathrooms were not cleaned well or possibly at all during the week. Better on the weekend. Ticks were TERRIBLE! Deet bug spray wasn't even enough to keep them away. Some sites well mowed, others had no grass and weeds were not mowed. Full hookups were good if you need them. Trails and playground were nice. Regularly patrolled by police and corp employees. Marina close by and kids enjoyed the ice cream there.
