Bathrooms were not cleaned well or possibly at all during the week. Better on the weekend. Ticks were TERRIBLE! Deet bug spray wasn't even enough to keep them away. Some sites well mowed, others had no grass and weeds were not mowed. Full hookups were good if you need them. Trails and playground were nice. Regularly patrolled by police and corp employees. Marina close by and kids enjoyed the ice cream there.

We were in spot 174 with FUH. It was a great shaded spot with fairly easy access. Long road back to Indian creek but the roads were great. Good dump site. Saw the ranger drive thru frequently but the traffic in and out drove WAY to fast. There were so many kids on bikes, people and dogs walking, we were afraid someone was going to get hit.
Would definitely go back.

Nice campground, beware of the ticks though. Site 52B is super unlevel, we barely could get our front up high enough on our 5th wheel. Also we're a 38' 5th wheel and barely had enough room to back in because of the trees. Even though 52B is super unlevel, 52A next door is even worse.

Had a very large family group camping trip. It was unbelievable having everyone together. The kids could run, play and be as loud as they wanted. Nobody is anyway near the group camping area. Your own showers, flush bathrooms and a playground. Totally awesome. This was our first time but already decided we’re doing it again next year.

Make sure you have tick spray as the camp ground is full of them, But that's nature.

Warning! 2023 all but one East Campground bathroom/shower houses have been demolished AND replacements are reportedly delayed due to supply chain problems in construction. There is only a single men's private toilet room available for a lot of campers. We stayed over a weekend that had many more tent campers than we had ever seen in the past with some wait lines for the one men's toilet. Management should at least have put in a few porta potties near the playground at the East campground entrance. So in an emergency be prepared to use the woods!
