Indian Creek Campground is highly regarded for its beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained sites, surrounded by nature and offering easy access to hiking and Mark Twain Lake. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite spot for many. While there were minor issues with booking and bathroom cleanliness, overall experiences are overwhelmingly positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Site right next to lake trail, but has significant downhill slope on pad, make sure to have extra leveling blocks or sleep at an incline.

Was good for a 4th of July weekend, cell phone reception was very poor as well as tv using rooftop antenna. Only complaint of campground was very large presence of bugs in bathroom.

Excellent customer service. Unfortunately, my family was unable to visit this campground due to an injury during our trip. We did not consider cancelling until after returning home to Wisconsin which was also the first day of our reservation. We were unable to cancel our reservation online since it was day of and instead attempted calling the campground ranger phone number. We left a message and determined that we would not be able to receive a refund. Much to our surprise, 2 weeks later we received an email with acknowledgement of our request for cancellation and refund. We could not have received better customer service and hope that we can plan a new vacation to visit the areas we missed during our last trip. Thank you!

There were so many mosquitos on the bathroom (alive and dead) it looked like a brown carpet on the floor. Could not use the toilet or shower which is an issue if you don't have full hookups. I was told that the bathrooms could not be sprayed. I think this should be looked into because of West Nile and a health hazard! I can't recommend Indian Creek Campground because of this issue

Love everything about the park. The only reason it is not a 5 star is the bathroom are terrible. They smell like major mold and LOTS of bugs. I expect bugs when camping but they over take the bathrooms to the point you cannot use the toilets.

Loved the park. Great campsites and facilities. Clearly stated rule of no parking along road or in the grass. Campers a couple sites over in the loop had large vehicles and boats parked along the road in the grass all weekend. Several times I had to drive off the road and through brush to get around. Absolutely no attempt to enforce this and clear the road. I watched park ranger staff weave through this mess all weekend and never address it. Fantastic park otherwise. Will definitely return.
