What Guests Are Saying
Indian Creek Campground is highly regarded for its beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained sites, surrounded by nature and offering easy access to hiking and Mark Twain Lake. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite spot for many. While there were minor issues with booking and bathroom cleanliness, overall experiences are overwhelmingly positive, with many looking forward to returning.

We were there during the Halloween Camp and it was very busy and the campground was full. We did not intentionally make our reservations for that...its just the way it worked out. We did not attend the Halloween camp but glad you offer it for those that like it.
Please remove the trees that obstruct slide outs and awnings. There are numerous sites that we would use if there were no obstructions. Our 5th wheel is 40 ft/4 slides plus our tow vehicle so we have limited sites that will work for us. And please upgrade the sites with concrete patios instead of messy gravel....please make sure they are slight slant so water doesnt pool on them.
It is most important that you address the poor cell signal and terrible internet service in the park. It is a safety issue if someone needs to call for help! Please male this a PRIORITY!
The current Mark Twain internet agreement is a joke and no one is going to pay for that kind of service...plus they require that you sign an agreement and can monitor what you are doing online....really? Why would you allow something like that?
We did not use the common spaces but did notice a maintenance staff cleaning the showers/bathrooms.
We did interface with a Ranger named Bruce that was exceptional!
Indian Creek is our favorite (close to home) campground.

Loved it except, could not figure out how to work the modifications to the reservation, I had to cancel it and lose $10.00 then make a new reservation.

After staying at other campgrounds you have to give Indian Creek 5 stars. With the pandemic the fish cleaning stations are a struggle. We were trying to clean a very large catfish. The ranger that we talked to said you are going to put in new ones. The existing stations have been really good and clean until they were closed off for the pandemic. Hopefully the new ones will be bigger with better lighting. I know that the planning has already been done and changes now would be imposable.
