A little crowded, campsites are right on top of each other. The location was very conventient for the Many Glacier area with access to trails and the lodge.

Loved how close it is to both the Swiftcurrent Inn & Many Glacier Lodge. Also trailheads. Did not love how close the other campers are. Still, lots of great trees for shade and plenty of amenities. Wished there wasn't a fire ban in effect but you can't predict that.

The campground was great, hike was good, campground was immacualte and campground staff were lovely. Staff in both the restaurant and gift shops were incredibly rude and slow.

Great campsite right next ti the river; wildlife activity was constant within the campground, bears both brown and black (cinnamon) plus giant moose just roam freely as they should. Some bathroom facilities are brand new, some are dated, all are cleaned well each morning. Excellent base camp for hiking, fishing, paddle boarding or just glassing for wildlife. Rangers are knowledgeable, educational and friendly. Camp host are kind and helpful. Couldn’t ask for anything more besides booking more nights. This camp ground is busy in peak season.

We stayed in site 45 for 3 nights. It was a good size for our 21’ trailer and had a table and fire ring (couldn’t use the ring due to fire restrictions). The site was pretty private. This was our first time using a trailer (vs tents). We prefer sites that are spread out and private. It was nice to be somewhat separated from neighboring sites and the location to area trails, lakes, and the many glacier amenities was perfect. Walking distance to swift current with pay showers and laundry as well as to the many glacier hotel.

Site R045 is not great. It's so close to the bathroom that it appears to be the handicapped parking spot for it. You'll hear the obnoxious hand dryer running as you try to fall asleep or sleep in the following morning. Someone was trying to dry their clothes at 9:30 pm when we were there as the dryer kept restarting for several continuous minutes. I get that the NPS was trying to be environmentally conscious when they installed these, but they should have considered the annoying noise factor.
The Recreation.gov description shows a max length of 15', but our 19' RV fit with plenty of room to spare. The site had quite a slope to it, so make sure you have some thick leveling blocks

Lucky to snag a spot here! I don’t think this campground has any bad sites except maybe the ones you can reserve four days before (would still absolutely stay in one of those, this campground is awesome). We used the Swiftcurrent showers (tokens are $4). Nell’s (also at Swiftcurrent) was a great little restaurant. Best hiking in Glacier!

Make Sure You Book the Correct Campsite! You are responsible for reading the site alerts and booking a site that will accommodate your equipment. Most campsites and driveways are very small and will not accommodate towed units over 21 feet (6.4 m). A limited number of sites can accommodate towed units 26 to 30 feet (8 to 9 m). Many campsites will not accommodate camper 'slide-outs'. If you must use slide-outs, please make a reservation at St. Mary Campground, located 22 miles (35 km) from Many Glacier and 1/2 mile (.8 km) along the Going-to-the-Sun Road. |

Entrance Fees. The park entrance fee is $35 per vehicle and $20 for hiker or bicyclist. The entrance fee is valid for seven days (and may be purchased upon arrival or in advance). The park honors Interagency annual and lifetime passes. |

Food Storage and Wildlife. Grizzly and black bears frequent the area. Food storage regulations are strictly enforced. When not in immediate use, all food, beverages, coolers, cooking and eating utensils, toiletries, pet food, or other attractants must be kept in a closed, hard-sided vehicle or secured in bear resistant lockers located throughout the campground. |

Generators. Generator free sites are # 48 - 59, 71, and # 86- 102. Other sites allow generator use only during the hours of 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., 12 noon to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. |

No Phone or Cell Connectivity. There is no public phone or cell phone coverage in or near Many Glacier Campground. The closest phone service is 12 miles (19 km) east in the town of Babb, MT. |

Hammocks. Hammocks must be hung over non vegetated areas using one inch straps or wider. Vegetation may not be trampled to access hammocks. |
