Camping within the national park was a great opportunity to see wildlife. It was clean and convenient with plenty of space between campsites!

Many Glacier campground is an amazing place and we had reservations for the whole week. But the lack of respect for being in bear country by other campers was evident from the day we arrived. Unfortunately, on our second day someone "fed" a grizzly a package of tortillas by not being diligent and the campground had to go to hard sided only and because we were in a tent we were booted to Rising Sun campground which was nice but not what we had planned for the week. Take seriously the warnings about possible campground closures and how to store your things in bear country!

The campsite is very nice. I didn’t know that tents weren’t allowed until I arrived, so I had to sleep in my car. I would have liked to have known the no-tent situation before I arrived.

Best campground at Glacier NP! Clean bathrooms. Deep sinks to wash dishes. Campsites have plenty of space. Shaded with trees and amazing view of Grinnell Point up above. Swiftcurrent Inn has everything you could need so you won’t need to leave for anything but gas. Public showers and public laundry behind the Inn.
Plus you have tons of options to hike right from the campground or a few minutes down the road.

Gorgeous site and location with just-updated bathrooms, very close to the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn. Would definitely stay again to be close to so many great hikes!

What a great campground. It has wonderful hiking right from the campground. The bathrooms were clean. The motor court area had a camp store and a restaurant. You could purchase a hot shower. Most of the campers were real hikers and followed no trace principles.

Stunningly gorgeous campsite. Convenient to Swiftcurrent Inn for store needs, etc. Wish we had had more time on this trip to just hang out in camp, we were so busy seeing everything else.
