Site 74 was absolutely the best campsite in one of the best campgrounds we've stayed in. Beautiful riverside plot with open space but still relatively private. The campground itself was well appointed with clean and well-functioning bathrooms. There was some bear activity while we were there, and the friendly and diligent Ranger team stayed on-site making us feel safe and informed. On a 2+ week adventure across the NW USA & Canada, this was definitely our best stop. Highly recommend!

One of the best campground we’ve ever stayed in. The views and location within the park are unbeatable. Tons of hikes to do right from your campsite. Bathrooms and campsites were very clean. General store is within walking distance to restock essentials. 10/10

Great stay! We had a lovely site and it was quiet. No showers at the campground but there are some behind the Inn.

The campground is so convenient to some wonderful trails. The Swiftcurrent Motor Inn had a nice gift shop. The park is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Hard to find a more beautiful campground anywhere. Easy access to great trails. Superior ranger evening presentation. Reservations very hard to get.

It is not possible to love this park more. Everything blew our expectations out of the water. The location is perfect. The view is stunning. The campsites are good sized with a good amount of shrubbery/trees between sites. The bathrooms are indoor toilets and were very clean. There's a nearby lake that's about a 5 minute hike and Moose are known to frequent it for feeding. Sure enough there was a moose there the night we were! Didn't have an issue with mosquitos. The park hosts were great. The list of good goes on and on. We wish we could have stayed there the whole week of our road trip!

Location of campground was awesome. Walking distance to some of the best trailheads in the park. Iceberg Lake was incredible! Only complaint would be that Our site was next to the restroom, which they keep lit up like an airport all night. And the hand dryer sounded like the jets landing. If you’re a hiker though, this is where you want to stay!

Had trip planned to Many Glacier Campground since last December - it is SO hard to book now on rec.gov - seems harder than trying to get concert tickets. Drove 10 hours to get to campsite, which was absolutely beautiful, tent camping and only have one bear locker for 2 or 3 campsites made it harder to store items, which was the downfall of the campground. Just 24 hours later had to leave campsite with NO where to go since another camper left out food and threw some in fire ring where a grizzly had a morning snack. We where told we had to take down tent and sleep in car if we wanted to stay. If there was ample storage or food and coolers we could have made it work, but old bear locker sizes are too small for anything more than 2 medium sized bins, so we left. Fortunately, Rising Sun Campground in Glacier National Park is still first come first serve and we were lucky, along with some others from the campground to get in that night. My hope is that they will leave this campground first come first serve beyond 2023. And kudos to the campground host for being on top of things at Rising Sun, if Many Glacier was able to staff host 24/7 maybe things would have been different. Again, this campground is beautiful, but just know that at any moment, if you are tent or soft side camping and help out the host if you see neighbors not following bear rules, or you may be leaving as soon as you get there.
