What Guests Are Saying
Sprague Creek Campground is a charming and clean site with excellent access to Lake McDonald, making it ideal for tent campers and smaller vehicles. Visitors appreciate the friendly camp host, beautiful lake views, and quiet atmosphere, particularly in the evenings. However, some sites are small and close together, resulting in limited privacy, and road noise can be an issue, especially for those near the main road.

The campground is well located within the park, a reservation here also serves as your GTTS road pass so that's nice. However, the campground is very close to the road, so not very peaceful, especially during the day.

Terrific campsite, very friendly host. Only issue (that clearly is not specific to the campsite) is that one of the neighbors decided to play their bagpipes for 2 hours. Who does that?

Love the smaller campground with less RV’s and the lake right there. Great beach for sun rise views and swimming. My only issue is that it’s right on the highway and cars are running all night long so no tent solitude and quiet at this one.

This was our favorite campground in Glacier! It's very small and doesn't allow generators, which makes it nice and quiet. We loved being able to walk down to the lake with our coffee, and the shuttle right across the street from the campground was super convenient.

This is a wonderful quiet and small campground right on the shores of Lake McDonald. We had a deer visit daily. Site 16 has a private path going right to the lake. The only downsides were the road noise and mosquitoes.

I love this sweet campground on the lake and was ecstatic to get a couple nights there and share them with my niece who'd never been to Glacier.

This is a beautiful campsite along McDonald Lake. There is some road noise, but I appreciate that no generators are allowed to be used in the campground. Camp Host was very nice.
