We absolutely loved staying at the campground! We stayed for five nights, and it was a great way to see all the park had to offer. It was cost effective and the rangers were helpful when we had questions. We didn't have to wait in the long lines to get into the park, we could just get up and go to explore the area. The sites were spacious, and had great views. The bathrooms were some of the best bathrooms I have ever experienced while camping. They were clean and always stocked. The showers were a little less to be desired, ours didn't have warm water, the shower curtain was ripped so there was cold air constantly, and there was hair and bugs in the shower and changing area. But, if you aren't there for as long as we were, then you may not need a shower! The only thing we suggest is to be ready for more wind, the campground always had a breeze. We were there while temps were in the low 70's so I was in a sweatshirt most of the time. We would highly recommend this campground to anyone!

Beautiful, well-kept and the views are great from Loop C. Could use more bear boxes for convenience.

We enjoyed our stay at St Mary's CG! The sites are small and unshaded, however, the bathrooms were very clean and the area was serene and in a great spot to access hikes in the area!

Nice campsite that’s a half mile walk to the visitor center. It was clean, lots of bathrooms and respectful neighbors. Staff was really friendly and helpful

This is a nice site in St. Mary CG. The campground is quite big and has a lot of open areas and can be pretty loud at times, but this site was a little more tucked in the trees which was nice.

Great campsite. Bathrooms were great but the Showers were very dirty. Could not bring myself to use them.

This was a wonderful campground and site specifically. It was lush and beautiful, not too many bugs, very quiet, clean and spacious bathrooms (electric too). My only regret was not staying here longer. Luckily, this site is super close to Many Glacier RD. Since we couldn't secure a vehicle reservation for the specific day we wanted to hike from there, we didn't have to wake up too early to make it into the park before 6 am (around 5:15 wakeup call)! I would 100% camp here again, and definitely take the chance to do so if you have it.

We stayed in site 69B in our 35' fifth wheel RV for five nights. The site was slightly unlevel but we had plenty of leveling blocks with us to level the RV. The campground is fairly clean and maintained pretty well but the shower house was dirty and in poor condition. We had a great view of the mountains from our site and many sites also had pretty views. It was an easy walk to St. Mary's visitor center and also to St. Mary's Lodge where we caught a Red Bus Tour. The dump station and fresh water for your RV is available at the entrance of the campground. Overall we had an excellent trip and liked the campground. The only reason we are giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the shower house.
