I really wish tent campsites were not on gravel. At least this seemed like more rounded rocks than sharp edged. Nice bathroom with flush toilets and portable water near the campsite

we are happy to get the site booked. The site is quiet. and the facilities are good enough. We will go back soon.

Overall very beautiful campground/site! We stayed at c126 and the bathroom across from us was unfortunately closed and under construction, so we had to walk all the way around the loop for the bathroom. Not a huge deal, just a little annoying. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

It's aways nice to stay in such a beautiful location (the high winds notwithstanding). There are a few suggestions I could make: one of the simplest fixes concerns the showers; the showerheads spray in all directions. A simple fix would be installing the Delta 52652-PK showerhead (approx. $15.00) that is a simple device that gets the water focused and is rated at 2.5 gpm. Also, all the campsites should have a raised tent pad, instead of 50% of the sites now. These simple fixes would make for a (much) more pleasant stay.

Lovely outdoor campsite, great flat spot for cars/vans and people in tents.
Campgrounds were very nice too - Highly recommend!

This site was very small and the only spot to pitch my tent had a big exposed tree root which made it hard to set up. The entire site was overrun with red ants, maybe the previous campers left
food particles everywhere. The fire pit was engulfed with them. I went to st mary to buy some spray but they didn't have any. Thought my tent would end up full of ants, so i ended up sleeping in my car instead. Nice campground overall, but stay away from this site A39

While this isn't the prettiest campground (not many trees, kind of in the wide open without much privacy at individual sites, etc.) the view of the peaks is great, being close to St Mary Village is perfect for ice/food/gas, it's a quick drive to the Many Glacier area and, possibly best of all, FREE HOT SHOWERS. Honestly, the free hot showers alone would make me book at least one or two nights at St Mary CG when I make another trip up to Glacier in the future.

Site C106 was very exposed. No tree cover/shade and extremely windy. Many people had tents blowing/collapsing.

It was a good campsite not too crowded, enough space between campsites. The only thing I don't understand is why the ground is not soil but pavement. It is almost impossible to secure the tent to the ground. It was a little nerve wrecking but I've got creative. There were some cell service at the spot which was nice.

Very happy with my stay at St. Mary campground. I used the free shuttle to visit the west side of the park, Logan Pass, and hiking destinations in the east side of the park.
