We loved our stay at St Mary Campground, but luckily we had our own shower because there were only 3 showers available for 156 campsites. However, the woman who cleaned the showers did an amazing job. The few times we used the shower (down time when no one needed it) it was immaculate.
The sites are all pull through on the road. Some not very level.
The rangers and hosts were available at all times; they were very helpful and nice.
FYI - fill your water tank when you enter the campground. There is a potable water faucet at the dump station.

Nice to have showers in a national park campground as those don't usually exist! 1 only gave you freezing cold water (the first one I used) so I assumed they all did that and was happy to find out the rest you could get fairly hot water and change the temp. Some sites offer you a decent amount of privacy and most of the more open sites give you views of the mountains. People can run generators in 2 of the loops during certain hours but not overnight at all. That said you will likely be able to hear your neighbors chatting if you're all outside. Multiple bathrooms throughout the campground, but I think only 1 has showers potentially. Garbage in each loop but the recycling is up by the main campground entrance and dump station.

We have always liked this campground. The only Difference now is that it's so complicated to get a campsite with all the visitors. We had years where we could stay here without even making a reservation. The road, at least in the lower part of Loop A, is in pretty bad shape with all kinds of potholes. Other than that, it still is as nice as it's always been.

Great campground, bonus showers, sunrises and sunsets were lovely. One of the few campgrounds we had wifi.

Showers were kind of inconvenient and one bathroom in the A loop was under repair. However, everything was otherwise great. The view of the mountains was quite nice. My main complaint is that road traffic is audible from all parts of the campground, mostly relevant during business hours.

Great Mountain views, but was a tad on the windy side. Some sites are great others are too open. Excellent cell coverage. Overall, very pleased with the campground and facilities. Additionally, the education program was excellent. Would recommend this location.

Quiet and chill campground, appreciated having a ranger to check in and give information, unfortunately the showers had NO hot water and bathrooms are a bit dingy but with the NPS getting defined I'm not surprised
