Great location. Showers were hot and water potable which was a nice surprise!

Beautiful campground with nice views, relatively flat pullthrough that was nice for our trailer and allowed our passenger side door and kitchen to open towards the picnic table. Not a ton of shade but enough smaller trees to help you still feel seperate from your neighbors and add to the view and breeze on hot summer days (too small for hammocks). It does have cell reception, the showers at the campground are hot with good pressure (although there will be a line in the evening) and flush toilets.

A great camping experience. With showers! Beautiful views. Great weather.
Could have more shade, but we will have to wait for the trees to grow more.
Bear in the campground! Exciting!

We have camped here 4 times in the last 8 years, and it is our favorite campground because of the scenic location and the beautiful campsites.

We stayed at both St Mary’s and on the west side at Fish Creek in late July of 2023. Both sites were great and we would stay at both again. Comparing and contrasting them - St Mary’s was very windy compared to Fish Creek. The sites in St Mary’s were not as shaded as in FC but they had more privacy. FC tended to have more families w/ small children and was a bit noisier than SM’s. SM’s restrooms had a separate place to wash dishes (in addition to a dump station). FC did not have a place to wash dishes. Showers in SM are located in Loop C and in FC they are in Loop A.

Lovely campground, shower house was a nice amenity, and only a short walk from the visitor center and shuttle service. Central location on east side of park was perfect - but while it includes access to GTTS road, be aware that day passes are still needed to access Many Glacier and Two Medicine.
