We were very happy to find this park and a place to stay overnight with no reservation. Would have stayed another night but they were all booked up.
Beautiful area with lots to do in Park and surrounding area.
Will stay again if we are in the area.
Hard to find even with GPS.

Campsites are a great mix of shade and sun. The site are close to each other but enough space to have a conversation without being overheard by others. Also close enough to invite friends and take up a couple sites and be close.
Bathrooms were cleaned every morning around 8 am and if the soap dispenser was empty at the end of the day, it was full when they came to clean the next morning. Staff are great and you are just a few minutes from downtown Byron City if you need supplies. Definitely recommend.

Deep Creek Campground was the perfect location for visiting the southern part of GSMNP and Bryson City. While the campsites were relatively close together, we felt like the atmosphere was still peaceful and everything was very clean and well kept. The best part was being within walking distance to a few wonderful hikes!

Creek frontage is nice but it's a longer walk back and forth to the parking lot.

I love this campground. It is always clean and quiet campground hosts were wonderful. We enjoy driving in to oconoluftee visitor center to view the elk .

Loved Deep Creek! The fact that it is a bit more out of the way is actually super nice. Less crowds and we also avoided a lot of the traffic from Gatlinburg. Beautiful campground.

Deep Creek Campgrounds main attractions are that it is adjacent to the creek, has a beautiful picnic area across the creek and is a great launch point for the three falls loop and other trails.

Sites are a little close, narrow and unlevel. But the location is fabulous. Wonderful access to trails and Bryson City.
