Nice quiet campground with a couple of good volunteers at the gate. A nice, short hike to a waterfall was a treat.

Quiet campground with Deep Creek running through it. We hiked up Deep Creek trail and then came back and soaked our feet in the frigid creek. Very refreshing!!

Nice campground. I tented it and had a nice site next to stream. Wasn't busy at all. Some good hikes close by. This campground is near Bryson City and Cherokee which are nice little towns and not too commercialized like the Gatlinburg area.

Campground hosts were very nice. The hiking trails are well maintained and the kids seemed to be enjoying the cool creek waters. All sites were shaded and the park was clean. Our site was perfectly sized for our 24 ft motor home, but I think bigger rigs may have a problem finding a site big enough. The price is right too!

Deep Creek seems like it could get very crowded but we stayed in mid-May so it was at about half capacity or less. We stayed at #22 and found clear and smoky quartz on the beach right by our campground! The bathroom stays on all night and is VERY bright so depending on if that is a good or bad thing for your family, you may want to stay farther from them.

Beautiful campsite with friendly hosts. Being at such a nice site in GSMNP and so close to Bryson City was great. Can't wait to come back.

We loved our time at Deep Creek. The campground is easy to get too but quiet and it was so nice to be camped right by the creek. Trails for hiking and biking were located right at the edge of the campground and it was not far at all to see multiple waterfalls. We'll definitely be going back!

Although the setting is peaceful and the hosts were friendly, the campsites need to be reassessed by Recreation.gov for length. We needed to be reassigned because we couldn’t comfortably fit into our original site. The hosts found us an alternative, but it was on a hill and a curve and was also a tight squeeze.
