What Guests Are Saying
Mount Pisgah Campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained environment with friendly staff, clean facilities, and excellent access to hiking trails and waterfalls. Many campers appreciate the privacy and spaciousness of the sites, as well as the enjoyable ranger-led programs. While some sites may be challenging for larger RVs and there are occasional noise issues, the overall experience is positive, making it a favorite destination for nature lovers.

Great National Park Campground. B04 was a multi level campground with great privacy. You have two great hike options leaving from the campground too. If you need anything, the Pisgah Inn is right across the Parkway. We did notice some campsites did not have much privacy so you will need to be choosey when looking at the map.

We love this campground! Most of the sites have a bit of privacy and many work well if you need 2 sites together. The bathrooms are kept clean and the shower is hot. We also like that you can be in Brevard one direction or Asheville the other direction in 30 minutes. Lots of beautiful scenery and things to do nearby like graveyard fields and sliding rock.

It could have been better, had the bare box has been repaired. All bear boxes had the bottoms brought it out. They need to be replaced. The volunteer ranger was going around telling everybody to put your food in the mailbox, which was useless.

The staff/rangers went over and beyond to service our need.
We were greeted with a “Good Morning “ and the day progressively got better.

Pisgah CG is justly popular. I tent camp and enjoy the number of Rhodoendum enclosed sites. This time I was surrounded by orange and yellow flowerinng jewelweed and white snakeroot as well. TIP:: Look for the newer bear boxes that have a door and enclosed bottom. The top opening ones do not work for people under 5'8" and I was once surprised by a mouse in the food. Loop C has hot water and showers in a clean tiled bathroom. Due to staff shortage they no longer post reserved information on the reserveable site posts and since reservations can be made ONE not TWO days in advance, choose only FF sites if you don't have a reservation.
