Nice campground in the tent area. (LoopD). Bathroom facilities were close enough, clean and well supplied. It was quiet after about 10pm. Ranger program was excellent. Trails are close, well maintained and well marked. Most of the campsites were occupied but it did not feel crowded. It was the end of August and the weather was warm in the city but it was cool at night ( in the 60’s). I made prior reservations and we had a great dinner at the Mt Pisgah Inn. We would go back.

We have camped at Mt. Pisgah Campground for over 20 years. It is our summer time favorite campground. Peaceful, cool weather, and many trails at the campground and surrounding areas.

45 minutes from Asheville feels like you're about five hours away. This place is stunningly beautiful!
The facilities were wonderfully clean and everything was well marked.
The other campers were eight thousand kinds of friendly - so sweet and helpful.
Camped there alone as a female and felt completely safe and comfortable.

Lack of security, with no one on duty for over 24 hours allowed partiers to squat on a campsite. It’s the loosest, and trashiest, I’ve ever seen the camping area.
Otherwise, still a wonderful, beautiful experience.

Very awesome campground. Most sites are private feeling and have decent separation in a beautiful area. Bathhouses seem to be recently renovated and have nice hot showers. Being at elevation was a great escape from the summer heat.

We had site d12. It was a decent site, but we didn't like how it connected directly to site d14. Also the only level spot was were the tent was, which made the picnic table unlevel so our stuff was constantly wanting to slide off. Also hard to find a comfortable spot for our chairs since they were unlevel.
The campground could use more showers and have a lockable site in them instead of just a shower curtain.
The location of the campground was great and it was nice to have the general store across the street for ice and firewood.
If I could make a recommendation, have private shower and toilet rooms and a dishwashing station like they have at the Julian Price campground.
