Great location on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Clean sites, no bugs, and much more pleasant temperatures being at 5000’. Beautiful area for drives and hikes. If you are booking sites in the RV loop A, beware that many sites are not level, especially the pull-through sites. The back-in sites are more often level, but can be short and many are only suitable for trailers shorter than 25-28’. The tent loops C and D generally have nice level pads for tents. We will definitely return for our next visit to the Parkway.

We had a terrific time at Mt. Pisgah over Independance Day holiday. Camp ground was clean and bathrooms very usable.

Campsite spaces are small and have strange layouts, some facing the the road some are on the road
The bathroom with a shower was well maintained and clean

One of our all time favorite campgrounds. Some recent upgrades have really been appreciated. Great ranger staff. Love that place.

Pisgah is a beautiful place to stay and hike! We did experience a few problems camping. The pictures shown on the campground site are not what you will get! We expected a site with more trees and shade, but our site was completely in the sun and it was hot! The bathrooms were filthy and we never showered or used them if we could help it! A host would be a great addition because it did get noisy around midnight and there was no way to stop that! We will go back because we love the area, but we will be more prepared for the problems we had!

Excellent campground, very well maintained, helpful staff, beautiful surroundings. Many of the RV sites will be too small for longer rigs. Our trailer is 20 ft long and it looked like some of the sites would be too small for it and our tow vehicle. It is dry camping - no facilities at the campsite. A dump station with potable water is available at the campground, free for registered campers. A very enjoyable stay.

A good stay for value ($10 senior passport). Don't expect electricity though. NPS campgrounds seldom provide electrical hookups. Convenient stay, close to Ashville attractions and the parkway was beautiful. Flame Azaleas and Catawba Rhododenrons in bloom (June 4), loved it.
