What Guests Are Saying
Mount Pisgah Campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained environment with friendly staff, clean facilities, and excellent access to hiking trails and waterfalls. Many campers appreciate the privacy and spaciousness of the sites, as well as the enjoyable ranger-led programs. While some sites may be challenging for larger RVs and there are occasional noise issues, the overall experience is positive, making it a favorite destination for nature lovers.

Visited during gov shutdown, but everything was lovely at Pisgah. Friendly helpful staff, active and conscientious volunteers, good advice. Had a great site in the D loop, and four days of the best fall weather. Oh, and my NP senior discount- what’s not to like? Other campers also well behaved and respectful of other’s campground experience

My experience and that of others in loop D, except for the two large groups at D30 area, was poor. The two large groups at D30 were loud and partied until 4AM. This was Sept 14th.
I have stayed at National Park and Forest camp grounds for many years coast to coast. Never have I seen such behavior.
I left note at park ranger entrance upon my exit early Monday with my number. No follow up.
I respect the Parks service and dedicated employees. Just surprised no patrols at start of quiet time ir during the night if a host was on site. I am sure all loops heard the noise.
Thanks

Excellent location. Campsite was clean. Loop C bathroom is needs an upgrade. No shower in Loop C and closest bathhouse in Loop B had only one shower stall.

The campground was great. Site D2 was nice enough (1) not much sun in late October and (2) a treacherous set of stairs down to the the campsite with no handrail (3) longer walks to the toilets in the middle of the night than most other sites; however closer to the showers than most D-loop sites (4) no dedicated cut-through to the inner walkway (5) perceived privacy was pretty good only because no one was at the campsite next door, which was quite close and not significantly shielded by vegetation. No particular privacy from the main road. Lots of signs saying where not to wash dishes - no signs saying where it would be okay to wash dishes.

I’m at my little sister and her husband up there. It was her birthday on Wednesday and we had a wonderful time. The leafs were gorgeous and just the drive on the Blue Ridge was exciting to see all the colors. I’ve always enjoyed camping along the Blue Ridge and we would recommend it to anyone!
