What Guests Are Saying
Mount Pisgah Campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained environment with friendly staff, clean facilities, and excellent access to hiking trails and waterfalls. Many campers appreciate the privacy and spaciousness of the sites, as well as the enjoyable ranger-led programs. While some sites may be challenging for larger RVs and there are occasional noise issues, the overall experience is positive, making it a favorite destination for nature lovers.

Last time we was here someone snaked our campsite. We talked to the occupants and got permission like campground ranger said to and came back to pay and a lady had payed while we was following the rules. She just drove thru and paid for the site without asking. Anyway, more money needs to be spent to keep this place tip top. If you’re going to continue to let people burn trash and generally act like morons then you should expect to not have a, what was once the best campground in North Carolina

Best experience ever! Reserve your campsite for the best sites. The firepit and picnic table are secluded at some campsites. The park rangers were extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely will be back soon!

Staff was excellent. Campsites are small but adequate, and the area around the campground is beautiful.

One group of guys ruined it though with partying/ loud music. Camp side host did nothing.

Beautiful campgrounds, well laid out. Loved that you could get coffee at the lodge on the other side of the road. Will surely be back.

The campground was a great location. Tent pads are a little small for a 6 person site forcing you to set up your tent on the asphalt/road. If you are a tent camper then get an inner loop site. Outter loops are terribly uneven for tents.
This campground is definitely set up more for RV(ers) vs tent campers. Loop A no showers (only restrooms), loop B,C,D only 1 shower per restroom. Long lines. Facilities we're clean, with heated restrooms.
