Clean campground and facilities. 2 trails nearby for hiking. Store for provisions right across street next to Pisgah Inn.

Great campsite - clean and well maintained. Our only negative was not the fault of the campground but we selected a site that backed up to the main road outside the campground. With it being Labor Day weekend, we could hear everyone driving by so we will be sure to select another site next time. But great hiking - we did the Frying Pan trail that led up to an old fire tower. Additionally, we drove down to Asheville and spent a night out there doing some brewery hopping. Overall, a great trip with great views.

Awesome campground to beat the heat Labor day weekend. The sites were spacious and the bathrooms were clean. We had a great time and will definitely go again!

Clean. Nice spot. Only issue were the loud group of 10 kids (aged19 and younger) who awoke at 6am and woke the entire campground.

Nearby Black Balsam is more than worth the effort.

This is a gorgeous place with trails and views easily accessible. The Pisgah Inn is directly across the street in case you want to take a break from camping and go out for a meal or buy a bottle of wine, which you can enjoy while watching the sunset there from a rocking chair. The only downside was neighbors who played their radio too loud.

Lovely campground. Went in early August—great temps at night for sleeping (50 degrees) and very few bugs when I went. Campgrounds are sizable, and many offer a ton of tree coverage and feel quite private. Mount Pisgah lodge is a short walk away and has a terrific souvenir shop, as well as some purchasable Biltmore wines. No views inside the campground, but Mt. Pisgah lodge nearby offers some terrific views.
Close to a good amount of day hikes, and not too far from Asheville—can’t recommend this park enough!
