Cedar Point Campground is praised for its clean facilities, spacious sites, and friendly hosts, making it a peaceful and enjoyable place to stay. Guests appreciate its proximity to beaches, nature trails, and various attractions, enhancing their overall experience. Some minor issues include occasional cold showers and limited water access at sites, but these do not significantly detract from the campground's appeal.

We stayed on site 31 in May for 1 week. We utilized the bathhouse frequently. We’re a family of 5 and never had to dump other than when we left. Site 31 is not a shady site as the website states. If it had been summer it would’ve been very difficult for our A/C to keep up. There is a large grassy area that surrounds this site & this is the primary reason we chose this site. You cannot put a tent in the grass on any site in the park. This was disappointing as our oldest son had to put his tent in full sun instead of under a tree. The large grassy area was used as a pathway by every camper below us to get to the bathhouse. There is no path, just grass. No problem but our dogs aren’t used to that & it was annoying as I didn’t anticipate that happening. The bathrooms were ok but not cleaned while we were there. The men’s room didn’t like to flush so they went in the handicap but had to go to the men’s room to wash their hands as the faucet didn’t work in the handicap. The showers are separate rooms but the actual shower needs some attention. It was a push button & you’re unable to adjust the temperature. It was either cold or scalding hot. Only spoke with the one host who was very friendly & helpful. Lovely canoe/kayak trail we failed to know about but will definitely take advantage of next time. Hiked the 1.6 mile loop trail & it was awesome! Highly recommend. Not difficult & excellent views. Lots of space between almost every site. Will definitely go back but I have my list of sites that I’d prefer next time.

Nice camping spots with plenty of green space, clean and quiet. Loved the kayak launch area too.

I really like this campground and only find one fault - it has communal water. We came prepared for that by bringing extra hoses so we could fill our tank while in our site since there was a hydrant across the driveway from us. However the hydrant was broken and so there was no water without hooking back up and driving around to find another hydrant. We elected not to do this since we were going to be away most of the day most days we were there. We walked to fill containers with water from another hydrant to meet our needs. I would definitely come back here and plan to do so next Spring.

For such a beautiful park the sites for travel trailers are very small and close together. This was the worst campground of all the parks we have been to .

Very nice and tidy campground. Although the area is free of vegetation, there is plenty of space between sites, so privacy is not an issue. Clean toilets and showers. An easy to solve detail, there was no QR code to pay on site. A more difficult problem is that, if you want to explore the area on your last day, once you check out, there is no space to park your vehicle, so you are out. The number of sites is limited.
