Cedar Point is a beautiful campground located within just a few minutes of shopping, beaches and fine restaurants. If you want peace and quiet surrounded by the beauty of nature, this is it. Campsites are paved, and have plenty of space on the graveled area for picnicking or tenting. Each site has 50/30/115 hookups. Potable water is located conveniently throughout. The campground has only one dumpstation. The bath and showers are located in the center of the campground and are clean.
My only complaint is the campground host. He was rude and not friendly... the total opposite of the definition of a host. He has a "I'm the boss here, so get used to it" attitude. My friend who camped here accidentally had two wheels of his truck on the grass, and the "host" came by and made a scene. My friend is a gracious man and not confrontational and did not deserve the rude treatment he got. I don't know who is in charge of the hosts, but this man definitely needs some training or told to move on.

Kayak Trail nearby and Tidal Lands with trails
Grocery shopping is nearby
Would certainly return

We really enjoyed our time at Cedar Point Campground. Site 18 was our home for a couple days to spend quality time with my brother and our wives. It was very convenient to most anything you may want to do from restaurants to, shopping, to beach activities. We really wanted to stay longer but life takes over and we had to move along. We do plan to return as soon as possible.

Campsites were so spacious and shaded with lots of green space. Hiking the trails along the marsh was refreshing.

This is a wonderful campground with spacious sites and super easy leveling of RV’s. Only negative is no water hookups at the sites and the showers are push button.

One of the Men's toilets does not properly flush and has been clogged up often.
It has been like this for two years. Camp Host says good luck getting it fixed ???
Women's bath was without soap for two days. Campground is not using park
employees like they used to; but contractors. This is our only complaint.

Nice sites, nice showers. It would have been nice if many of the water hydrants had not been shut off (due to leak). Good base to kayak or hike in the area.
