The camp hosts have every big dogs that seem very uncomfortable around guest who have to check in. Other than that the stay was nice, quiet and comfortable. We have stayed there before with the new host and I was actually afraid to go up to his site to check in because I was afraid his dog might get out before he could make him stay inside. I love animals and have pets of my own, but I was afraid of his.

The campground was cleaner than usual. The Ranger was patrolling more often which in my opinion is a good thing. I however did notice notice that there were not soap dispenser's in the restrooms. With the Covid situation I found that to be disappointing. This is the only state park campground I have ever been to without Hand washing soap dispensers. Also the showers had no Hot water. We camped in late April. Well past any freezing temps that might occur. All in all it was a very good experience. I would absolutely recommend.

Terrible space. We came with 2 tents, not an RV- mostly so that we could use electric for coffee and mattress filling. Land was horrible and rock-laden. The first night, we had to put our tent down on a hill. We spent most of the night crawling back to the top of our mattress so we wouldn’t fall out of the front of the tent. Also, ZERO privacy. Sorry, just not a fan. Clean bathrooms are why it’s rated fair.

We had a wonderful time, would of been 5 star if not for the tremendous amount of rocks on our site. But that may just be limited to that site. We had such a good time though that we already have reserved another site in July for 6 nights 7 days compared to the 3 nights 4 days that we did already! But it was a great family trip and we will be planning hopefully many more in the future! Will update after our next trip.
