This is A must see and stay destination if you are looking for a place to camp. Access to swimming boating hiking horse back riding and off road riding of every kind. We love it and we will keep coming back.

Bathrooms were clean and the camp ground was quiet after dark. The ranger came and introduced himself shortly after I arrived and was very pleasant. Not sure what else one ca ask for!

What a great campground. It rained the whole time but I still had a blast. The campsite was huge, rain runoff around the tent pad was perfect. The grill was good and camp fire ring was adequate.

From Troy, North Carolina, take State Highway 109 north for approximately 10 miles. Turn left onto Mullinix Road (County Highway 1154), and travel approximately 1.5 miles to a stop sign and "T" intersection. Turn right, and go approximately 2 miles to another stop sign and "T" intersection. Turn right, then make a quick left and travel about 1 mile to the campground.
Badin Lake Campground is accessible via State Highway 109, which is located approximately 10 miles south of the campground in Troy, NC.

Safety & rules
- Prescribed burns may occur throughout the year, potentially causing smoky conditions.
- Respect fellow campers by keeping off-highway vehicles on designated roads and trails, and control children and pets in the campground.
Fees & deposits
- Single site rates are $20/night and $10/night with Access or Senior Access Pass; double site rates are $40/night with no discounts available.
Site types & loops
- Campsites 17 and 19 are first-come, first-served with no hookups; alcohol and fireworks are prohibited.
Vehicles & parking
- Off-highway vehicles are allowed on designated trails from April 1 to December 15, with required trail passes and trailering for unlicensed vehicles.
