Badin Lake Campground offers a peaceful and scenic environment, making it a great choice for those who enjoy rustic camping and proximity to hiking trails. Many visitors appreciate the quiet atmosphere, clean campsites, and friendly interactions with fellow campers. Fantastic lake side campground. Not very spacing and privacy between sites.
However, the best lakeside access is in the loop without power and water. Shower had a few missing tiles.

Pros: The sites and views are fantastic. Great hiking trails within a 30min driving distance.
Cons: The bathrooms and showers are terrible and too few. The trash cans are also too small and too few. And they don’t sell firewood on site as other campgrounds do so you need to plan accordingly and bring lots of wood with you. The tent area was so hard we couldn’t hammer in our tent stakes...we tried and the metal started to bend.

Site # 7 was spacious and beautiful. However, the neighbors had 5 cars, 15 people and were pretty noisy. Unfortunately the campground attendant was nowhere to be found. The lake and the forest are gorgeous, but sometimes the fish just aren't biting! (April 5,2021)
