Great lake access on many sites! There was plenty of trees separating the sites. I appreciated the clean showers/restrooms .

We had a great time. We were right next to the lake and we’re able to peacefully hang in our hammocks all week. It was super quiet in the middle of the week and we felt comfortable as 3 women by ourselves the entire time

The people at site 31 drank alcohol and stayed up until 2:30 a m. Saturday night/Sunday morning being so loud and cussing that they kept us awake. They neglected to keep their dogs on leash so the dogs were roaming freely through the campground. We had no phone number to report them except 911 but it wasn't that type of emergency. We would like someone to have come through the campground after quiet hours at least once to ensure rules were being obeyed.

From Troy, North Carolina, take State Highway 109 north for approximately 10 miles. Turn left onto Mullinix Road (County Highway 1154), and travel approximately 1.5 miles to a stop sign and "T" intersection. Turn right, and go approximately 2 miles to another stop sign and "T" intersection. Turn right, then make a quick left and travel about 1 mile to the campground.
Badin Lake Campground is accessible via State Highway 109, which is located approximately 10 miles south of the campground in Troy, NC.
Elevation: 160 feet

Safety & rules
- Prescribed burns may occur throughout the year, potentially causing smoky conditions.
- Respect fellow campers by keeping off-highway vehicles on designated roads and trails, and control children and pets in the campground.
Fees & deposits
- Single site rates are $20/night and $10/night with Access or Senior Access Pass; double site rates are $40/night with no discounts available.
Site types & loops
- Campsites 17 and 19 are first-come, first-served with no hookups; alcohol and fireworks are prohibited.
Vehicles & parking
- Off-highway vehicles are allowed on designated trails from April 1 to December 15, with required trail passes and trailering for unlicensed vehicles.
