We stayed in Site #3 and it worked out perfect for 2 overlanding trailers, 1 tent, 3 jeeps and a car. Site was clean and level.

Nice quiet and clean campground. Not close enough to the water and only 1 bathroom at campground entrance. More for tow behind campers than tent camping.

I suppose for fishing and OHV sports, this is a great spot. We like hiking and quiet. Neither is in great supply at Arrowhead. Most National Forests are great. There was one trail in the camping area, according to Alltrails. It was literally a stream of running water at times. Hiking in both directions we could not complete the loop—way too black water, “marshy muddy”. After a mile+ drive through very, very potholed gravel roads you arrive. It’s just not worth the trip. However, I disagree with other reviews. There are places for food and supplies within a reasonable drive distance. It is a quite busy place for OHV and the Uwharrie area is very scenic.

Nice campground. Sites are close together but clean. Restroom was clean and well taken care of.

Camp sites are nice, private and access to the trails is great. Bath houses could definitely use and a good cleaning and some updating. When you visit, make sure you take your own soap and paper towels for the bath house as those are not provided. 4th time visiting and we still love it here, so now we just come come prepared.

Bath house was disgusting. On the first day someone had defecated on the floor and it stayed there the entire weekend. No the same place it was a few years ago.
