It was a little tight getting into our spot and it was a pull thru. Park and trails nice. Beautiful lake. Will return have a spot picked out.

Very enjoyable time at the campgrounds (especially for my first time tent camping). I was happy with the electrical hookups and access to water. Hopefully I can come back with a family member in the future.

Spot 24 was nice. I liked they it backed up to the woods where my kids could explore. Table, fire ring, lantern and 110v outlet all worked.
Bathrooms were clean and odorless. Showers were clean with hot water. Trash can were pretty full on Sunday night, but we’re emptied and cleaned up by Monday. Great cool evenings, zero mosquitoes and midges. Neighbors were all quiet and friendly. Overall great experience for a car/tent setup.

When leaving the pavement to going on the red clay road there wasn’t any rocks to keep traction on the road when it rains. When we arrived the weather forecast was bringing rain and we have a 35 foot motorhome towing a vehicle. When red clay is wet is very unstable hard to control and the road is not flat is rounded and you have to stay in the middle if you go any to the side you will slide down the mountain that is created on the road. So we weren’t able to stay our last night at the campground fearing we would have to be pulled out by a wrecker as bad weather was due in 10/12/2022. To sum up the park is very nice once you get in. The Host were very helpful on the lower and the upper part of the park.

We truly enjoyed our experience here! We had a tent campsite. It was very private with close access to Badin Lake. We hiked in the Uwharrie forest for a day. We would definitely return!

Overall nice facility, but weekend dust and noise caused by 4-wheelers ruins the surrounding serenity.

Everything went great! Host was great and informative! Bathrooms could be a little cleaner but not bad.

Our time at Arrowhead was good. The hosts met us with a long list of rules-stressing no alcohol anywhere. The campground was quiet, our site level. Upon arrival the bath house was clean but quickly deteriorated and not kept clean thru the weekend.
Sites are easy to get in and campground clean.
Make sure directions given on reservations are followed and that you are not low on fuel before getting there.
