Always a great stay. Only issue was I reserved site #40 for Friday and Saturday night and someone was in that site Friday when I arrived. No camp host on site. Luckily it’s off season so I took an empty site across the road.

Have stayed here hundreds of time through out the last 20 years and must say the Uwharrie National Forest never disappoints. Arrowhead campground was overall clean and accommodating fulfilling our camping needs.

My stay at the campground was very good, however I was not happy with the road getting to it. I believe if the road was paved for that last mile it would have been great. As it was because of the rain my camper and tow vehicle became extremely muddy and I had to wash both, and it was just because of the last mile. If it looks like rain again I will choose another place.

Very clean bathrooms and camp sites. Cell service is good for this area of Uwharrie.

Quiet campground, although of course we there in late December. We own a tall truck camper 12ft 6 in., it was nice to see low branches were already removed. Level site semi - private. Would certainly return. Directions were hard to find on web site. Also to book a site was quite difficult, not the most user friendly web site, much easier on KOA sites, anyhow beautiful park. Thanks to staff.

Arrowhead campground is a nice place. I've now been there during each season of the year. April, July, September, and December. I'd have to say my stay in December was my favorite, only because of how quiet it was (a lot less people out camping in December).
Sites are big enough for a trailer or small RV, electrical hookups and water availability. I always tent camp, and the sits are big enough for my 8x10' tent, an easy-up, and all our stuff.
Super easy access to all the trail systems around Uwharrie from the Arrowhead campground as well.
My only complaint is the bathroom. On busy weekends the bathrooms will run out of toilet paper and soap really quick, and don't get restocked or cleaned. Also, during the summer, there's no ventilation on in the bathrooms. I don't think there's AC for that little building, but even just some airflow would help. It becomes a sauna. Not awesome. Also the showers have one water nozzle, and it's hot water only. and it gets hot! So if I had to say one thing I didn't like about the campground, that'd be it.
