No such thing as quiet hours. Cars driving through the camp until 12:30am.

Dirt road on the way in needs some maintenance, the only fresh tank fill option is at the dump station and you are not allowed to fill at the spigots around the campground. Close to the boat ramp.

campsite was paved for camper but not level. Had hard time even disconnecting the camper from my truck due to it. Main complaint is that the bathrooms were hot, no ventilation, water was too hot and they were not cleaned the whole time we were there. One of the shower stall drains was clogged up and flooded the stall. Some sites are more secluded than others, the one we had was not with kids playing in the drive and dogs barking. Was not one of best experiences, probably will not return even though it was not far to travel to.

Arrowhead Campground was easy to get to and very quiet and peaceful during the week. There are electric hookups at many sites, but no water hookups. The camp hosts were helpful and kind. The bath house is nice and clean, and there are fresh water spigots around, but the water does taste a bit earthy. I would bring in bottled drinking water. There are a lot of trails to hike and kayaking, swimming, fishing, and boating on Badin Lake. On the weekend, the place was packed with people who were taking advantage of Jeep and ATV trails. I have never seen so many Jeeps. It was a bit loud, but everyone was quiet during the quiet hours from 10 pm to 6 am. I slept really well. There were many birds, wildflowers, and I even spotted a few non-venomous snakes. We saw deer and squirrels, too. Homestyle Barbecue in Troy was better than anything in Lexington. They have seafood Wed- Sat. We also visited downtown Lexington which was cute with lots of boutiques and food options and the Asheboro Zoo which is awesome.

Camp hosts let the trash overflow all weekend and animals drug it all over. No soap in the bathrooms. Sheriff and hosts cruising around all weekend harassing everyone for no reason and then letting people party after quiet time. I have camped here many times but I think this was the last time. Please clean the campground up.
