We had a wonderful time, would of been 5 star if not for the tremendous amount of rocks on our site. But that may just be limited to that site. We had such a good time though that we already have reserved another site in July for 6 nights 7 days compared to the 3 nights 4 days that we did already! But it was a great family trip and we will be planning hopefully many more in the future! Will update after our next trip.

There needs to be some fine tuning of the 2 vehicle per site rule, I should be able to have visitors or visit friends in the campground without being harassed by the camp host or fear of being evicted

I've been going to Uwharrie for 50 years, and it keeps getting better. We had a great time hiking and meeting our neighbors. Our host was very friendly and helpful.

Campground was nice, clean, my only complaint would be no hand soap in the bathrooms.

I really enjoy camping here. Facilities are well maintained and clean and there is a lot to do in URE Nat'l Forrest.

Great experience overall. However, campers should be told ahead of time about no black water dumping and the fact that filling fresh water tank may be a tricky hookup.

Arrowhead campground is a great remote location, be advised cell phone service can be minimal to none depending on your provider. Plenty of trails for both hiking, horses, ATV/OHV. There is a trail directly off the campground that connects you to both the badin lake area and other trails. Be advised that some horses do share trails with hikers so there will be some spots where the ground can be very muddy, especially after a rain storm.

You’re campground was fabulous. If we
lived closer it would be a regular camping spot. We have recommend your campground to people along our travels already. We do wish that the showers had had warm water.
